The face is a variable thickness forged 15-3-3 Beta Titanium Cup Face, plasma welded to the 6-4 Ti body for maximum and controlled CT over the majority of the face. The entire club face is the sweet spot. So even off-center or miss hits will send the ball directly down the fairway.The MT driver is weighted to have a neutral to draw bias while maintaining a square look at address and producing low to medium spin rate. MT Fairway Woods feature the same classic pear shape as the drivers with Cup Face 360° Technology. They are constructed from 17-4 stainless steel, with 17-4 stainless steel Cup Face plasma welded to the body. Spin rate is medium with minimal face progression and a neutral look at address. The internal weighting produces a neutral to slight draw bias. The sole is sculpted for minimum turf drag and includes two slightly pronounced rails. The rails allow a more aggressive angle of attack from thick lies without fear of the leading edge digging. Similar to the MT 460 Driver, MT Fairway Woods offers weight triangulation geometry in the sole design to enhance MOI. Expect driver-like distance.
